diSiac Dance Company is an energetic group of students, creatives, and artists who are eager to share the art of dance across campus, the US, and the world. Founded in 1998, diSiac Dance Company has grown to become one of the most widely respected and acclaimed groups at Princeton University. In addition to selling out all on-campus performances, teaching dance offsite, and hosting dance workshops, diSiac is also sought out for performances and programs in New York, Philadelphia, and other surrounding cities. We strive to push the limits of performance and movement with styles ranging from contemporary, hip-hop, heels, tap, and jazz. diSiac boasts widespread popularity, critical acclaim, and recognition in the Princeton community and beyond. From selling out our most recent show: HEADLINES (Spring 2022), to being the first artist-in-residence at the Berlind Theatre and the Richardson Auditorium, to being featured on the cover of the Princeton alumni weekly magazine, diSiac makes its mark as a thriving collegiate dance company. diSiac is involved in a variety of give back programs from the crafted student-alumni mentorship program to getting to perform in the giving tree program in New York City, among other amazing and reputable artists. Additionally, we have had the wonderful opportunity to bring in guest choreographers and teachers such as Jake Tribus, Kelly Peters, Loni Landon, Emily Greenwell, and Martell Ruffin.
diSiac is a family of dancers who uplift and empower each other in dance and in all aspects of life. As a group, diSiac strives to foster an inclusive space of creative and artistic exploration.
